BRIEF HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF SEASPIMEX VIET NAM
SEASPIMEX VIETNAM was established in 1983 from the inheritance of experience and know-how of SEAPRODEX, the biggest stated-owned fishery corporation in Vietnam. Over 37 years, SEASPIMEX VIETNAM has grown and expanded its business from local market to global market reaching more than 50 countries in 05 continents. Currently, the company has owned two modern processing facilities including: one in Ho Chi Minh city with 38,000m2 area, capacity 15,000 tons of finished products per year and more than 800 workers; one in Ben Tre province with 5,000m2 area, capacity 2,000 tons of finished products per year and more than 200 workers. The company’s factories have been certified for International Food Hygiene & Safety standards including HACCP; BRC; IFS; HALAL; FDA; SEDEX as well as been approved for Vietnam Food Hygiene & Safety regulations.
Since founded, SEASPIMEX VIETNAM has strived to focus on the quality of its products by developing and introducing more and more aquatically value-added fishery products. Therefore, SEASPIMEX brand has been proudly trusted in both Vietnam market and International market with the slogan “QUALITY MAKES THE DIFFERENCE”.

Special Aquatic Products Joint Stock Company Equitization and Establishment
The company is the first business unit of Seaprodex to perform equitization experiment into Special Aquatic Products Joint Stock Company with 18% state-owned capital
Seaspimex Factory Construction & Movement
The factory of the company had been moved from 213 Hoa Binh street, Hoa Thanh ward, Tan Phu district to B23/63 Hoang Phan Thai, Binh Chanh commune, Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh city with total investment 220 billions Viet Nam Dong. The new factory has the capacity of 15000 tonnes of finished products per year.
VISION
In 2025 vision, the company shall become a thousand billions revenue company equipped with modern facilities and operated under international quality standards. The Seaspimex brand shall be more well-known and recognized in strictly international market.
MISSION
In 2025, for domestic market, the company shall strive to achieve the position as one of a leading brand for canning and frozen products in Vietnam. For international market, the company shall expand its business to the modern distribution system in North America and Europe market

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT
Financial Accounting Department has the responsibility to manage the accounting system of the company as well as perform the financial activities under the direction of the management board.
EXPORT-IMPORT SALES DEPARTMENT
The Export-Import Sales Department manages the import-export activities for the whole company. In addition, the department is responsible for international sales of Seaspimex brand and Ba Tri seafood brand’s products through traditional business channel and E-commerce business channel.
PLANNING AND PROCUREMENT DEPARTMENT
The Planning and Procurement Department makes the plan, manages and procures the resources for company activities.
DOMESTIC SALES DEPARTMENT
The Domestic Sales Department is managing the sales and distribution activities of Seaspimex products in Vietnam region through General Trade, Modern Trade, HORECA, E-Commerce channel.
BATRI SEAFOOD FACTORY
The Batri Seafood Factory is a branch of Seaspimex in Ben Tre province which specializes in frozen fishery products.
SALMON WORKSHOP
The Salmon Workshop specializes in processing Salmon or similar fish. The workshop is equipped with modern facilities that match all kinds of request from customer.
FROZEN PRODUCTS WORKSHOP
The Frozen Products Workshop specializes in processing frozen products with IQF/BQF system and Air Blast Freezer system.
HA NOI BRANCH
The Ha Noi Branch is responsible for distributing Seaspimex products in North area.
HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT
The Human Resource and Administration Department is taking care of general affair and personnel affair of Seaspimex. The department is also responsible for Information Technology activities as well as guard team.
ELECTROMECHANICAL DEPARTMENT
The Electromechanical Department is responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of the equipment, mechanic facilities of the factory.
LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT
The Logistics Department is responsible for managing the arrangement and operation of the 2500MT cold storage warehouse as well as monitoring the input of raw material and the output of the finished products.
QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT
The Quality Control Department is responsible for guaranting the quality of the product from the raw material to the finished products. In addition, the department also support Domestic Sales Department and Export-Import Sales Department in following the food hygiene regulations of the market.
CANNING WORKSHOP
The Canning Workshop is responsible for manufacturing the canned product including canned fish, canned crab meat, canned vegetable, canned fruit.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
The Research and Development Department specializes in developing new products following market trends and customer specific request. Furthermore, the department is also improving the quality of the current products, cutting the cost of the current products by using proper alternatives.
MEAT WORKSHOP
The Meat Workshop specializes in producing fast-consuming products relating to pork, beef, fish.
CRAB WORKSHOP
The Crab Workshop is responsible for producing pasteurized and sterilized crab meat for Seaspimex.
